Homegrown FMCG firm Dabur has forayed into fizzy drinks market with the launch of a range of fruit juice-based aerated beverages as an extension of its brand ‘Real’.
Commenting on the development, Category Head, Fruit Juices and Beverages, Dabur India, Mayank Kumar said: “We have been witnessing an increase in consumer demand for ready-to-drink beverages that are aerated but not unhealthy. With Real VOLO, we are meeting this consumer demand with a range of fizzy fruit drinks that retain the goodness of the fruits and come without the guilt of unhealthy consumption.”
The range will have 20 to 25 per cent fruit juice content, Kumar added.
The company plans to extend this range in the coming months with the introduction of newer variants.
“With the launch of ‘Real VOLO’, we aim to not only extend brand Real to give our consumers more choices but also make the experience of consuming aerated beverages more enjoyable and nutritious,” he was further quoted by PTI as saying.
Real is a nearly 20-year-old brand of Dabur in fruit juice market.
