Just like taking the market with a storm with its watches and jewellery, Titan is all set to revolutionise eyewear market. Titan has revealed a new identity of its eyewear retail offer, Titan Eyeplus.
As the company believed that their earlier logo with its plus sign had a medical feels to it, they have revealed their new logo in a cool blue colour palatte and a modern typeface. The new logo reflects the shift of the eyewear category from a serious, functional category rooted in healthcare to a more youthful, contemporary fashion accessory.
The company has rejuventaed the brand’s retail experience from the time customer enters till they exit. There will be separate sections dedicated to men, women, youth and kids and each segmented will be further categorised under categories like corporate, fashion, sports, luxury etc.
Foley Designs has revamped thirty plus Titan Eyeplus stores and the rest will go through a makeover in phases. It is expected that the cost of makeover of each store will be 15-20 lakh.
80 per cent of the sales of the company are dependent on prescription eyewear, whereas the rest is from sunglasses. 90 per cent of the lenses sold are manufactured by Titan. Titan Eyeplus has 395 stores in 148 cities and out of this 100 are owned by the company.
